How to take a screenshot of a Zoom Room or controller display
Account owners and admins can select a desired Zoom Room from the admin portal and capture a real-time screenshot of what the Zoom Room's display and controller screens are showing. A notice appears on the Zoom Room's display and controller when a screenshot is taken, and admins have the option to save the screenshot to their computer.
Requirements
- Zoom Rooms:
- Windows version 6.3.0 or higher
- macOS version 6.3.0 or higher
- Appliances version 6.3.0 or higher
- iPad version 6.3.0 or higher
- Zoom Rooms controller
- iOS controller version 6.3.0 or higher
- Android controller version 6.3.0 or higher
- Windows attached controller version 6.3.0 or higher
- Administrator access to Room Management in the Zoom web portal
How to enable the ability to take a screenshot
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Room Management, then Zoom Rooms.
- You can use location hierarchy to configure this setting for a specific room or location. Click Account Settings to configure it for the entire account.
- Click the toggle next to Allow Zoom Rooms admins to take screenshots of the Zoom Rooms display/controller.
How to take a screenshot of a Zoom Room or controller display.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Room Management, then Zoom Rooms.
- Click Edit next to the room you want to take a screenshot of.
- Under the Take a screenshot heading, click Screenshot.
- Click Save Screenshot, then choose a destination for the file, and click Save.
