The Revenue Accelerator external recorder empowers users to record their Microsoft Teams meetings and have them analyzed for valuable insights. By ensuring participant consent, this external recorder helps users stay compliant with legal requirements and maintain trust among meeting participants.

Users can invite the bot manually or through automation when hosting or participating in eligible meetings. The integration requires completed actions from account administrators and end users for synchronization of calendars and contacts.

Can the external meeting recorder join a meeting before the meeting host?

Yes, depending on the host's meeting settings in Microsoft Teams. The recorder will attempt to join the meeting 3 minutes before the scheduled start time.  If the host has a waiting room enabled, the host will need to admit the recorder to the meeting once they've joined the meeting.

Can the external meeting recorder join a meeting before the ZRA-licensed user?

Yes, the recorder will attempt to join the meeting 3 minutes before the scheduled start time, regardless of whether the ZRA licensed user has joined or not.

If a Teams meeting is started early, will the external meeting recorder join early?

No, the recorder will join 3 minutes before the scheduled meeting start time.

Does ZRA get the recording and transcription from Microsoft Teams?

No, ZRA sends a recorder as an additional participant and generates its own recording to analyze and store, separate from Microsoft's native recording and transcription.

How long are Microsoft Teams meetings kept in ZRA for?

Microsoft Teams meetings are kept according to the retention policy configured in Account Settings > Revenue Accelerator > Auto Delete Data After Retention Duration.  If this setting is disabled, the Teams recordings will be kept indefinitely.
