Enabling ending conference calls once originator drops
Account owners and admins can enable or disable the End conference call once the call originator drops feature. Once this feature is enabled, a conference call will end when the originator, who first merges other participants into the conference call, drops.
Additionally, if the host's admin has enabled the End conference call once the call originator drops setting, the Transfer option is disabled in the conference call to prevent the whole call from ending when they leave. The transfer option will not be allowed according to the admin policies.
Notes:
- For shared line appearances, the conference call will end when the last delegator/delegate leaves the call.
- Users who host multi-party conferences from IP phones can benefit from the same conference continuity options available to other device users. When this setting is disabled at the account level, IP phone hosts can exit the conference while allowing other participants to continue their discussion uninterrupted.
