Blocking sensitive information in Zoom Virtual Agent

Admins can configure regular expression (regex) blocking rules to automatically detect and block users from sharing sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or social security numbers, during web chat conversations. When this feature is enabled, users attempting to send messages containing sensitive content will receive a notification stating that their message could not be sent due to its sensitive nature.

For example, if a user attempts to send a message like “My credit card number is 1234-5678-9876-5432,” the regex rule would detect the format of the credit card number and block the message. The user would then see a notification such as, “Your message contains sensitive information and cannot be sent.”
