Using real-time call summaries with AI

Users can open the AI feature during an active phone call to get a call summary and ask questions in real time. This feature provides answers based on the live transcription of the call. Users can select from pre-built prompts or type custom questions. When initiating this feature, participants hear a disclaimer prompt and a visual indicator shows the call is being transcribed. Users can control the transcription and have separate options for call summaries and questions. The feature provides real-time assistance by leveraging AI to capture summaries and answer questions during ongoing calls, enhancing the call experience.

The feature uses AI technology, which may include third-party models, to allow meeting participants to ask questions about the content of the meeting thus far. Preset prompts are provided, such as "Summarize this call so far.", "Summarize the decisions made.", "What are the action items?", and "Who is responsible for the tasks mentioned?", which can be useful for catching up when you join late or return after stepping away from the phone call. More specific custom questions are also possible. Phone calls, as well as questions and responses, are supported in more than 30 languages.
