Using the OneDrive Connector
Account owners and admins can easily integrate OneDrive with the Zoom platform using the OneDrive Connector. With a straightforward setup, this integration enables teams to create, manage, and share files directly within Zoom Workflow Automation. By connecting Zoom with OneDrive, teams can simplify file sharing, enhance collaboration, and maintain a seamless workflow across platforms. This integration boosts productivity by allowing users to manage and access OneDrive files without leaving the Zoom environment.
Requirements for using the OneDrive Connector
- A Zoom account owner or Zoom admin
- A OneDrive Account
How to install from the Zoom App Marketplace
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- In the top right of your screen, search for OneDrive Connector by Zoom.
- Click Create Connector. You will redirect to success page
- Click Manage Connectors, you will find that OneDrive Connector is already installed.
How to use the OneDrive Connector with Workflow Automation
- As an admin, go to Zoom Account Management and enable Workflow Automation if you haven’t already.
- Open the Workflow tab in the Zoom desktop app.
- Click Create Workflow.
- Select your preferred trigger for the workflow.
- In the Workflow action panel, click on OneDrive.
- Drag and Drop the OneDrive action, Create a file, onto the Workflow builder canvas.
- Click on the Create a file.
- Connect to your OneDrive account.
- Complete the action by providing a name for the OneDrive file, selecting the type of file(Word, Excel, or PowerPoint), and then click Save.
- Once you’ve finished configuring the workflow, click Create a file and provide a name for the OneDrive file.
- Click Publish.
- Finally, trigger the workflow and a file will be created.
How to remove the OneDrive Connector
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace with your Zoom account.
- In the top right of the page, click Manage.
- In the navigation menu, click Manage Connectors.
- Next to the OneDrive Connector, click the overflow menu … and select Delete.
- Confirm the dialogue and click Delete.
