Enabling or disabling Zoom Clips AI avatars

As an account owner or admin, you can enable or disable users in your account from creating clips with AI using Clips AI avatars. When enabled, users can select from a library of 18 pre-generated avatars, add a script, and customize the avatar’s virtual background before finalizing the clip. Users can also view a detailed breakdown of their avatar generation usage, showing how many minutes were used per video.

Requirements for enabling or disabling Zoom Clips AI avatars

• Zoom Workplace Pro and higher, Zoom Meeting EDU, Zoom Workplace Education, Healthcare new and Online BAA
• Clips enabled
• Account owner or admin privileges

How to enable or disable Zoom Clips AI avatars

Account

To enable or disable Zoom Clips AI avatars for all users in the account:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
3. In the side menu, click Settings .
4. Click Zoom AI.
5. Under Clips, click the Create with avatars toggle to enable or disable it.
6. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
7. (Optional) To prevent all users in the group from changing this setting, click the lock icon  , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

To enable or disable Zoom Clips AI avatars for a group of users:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
3. In the side menu, click Users .
4. Click Groups.
5. Click the applicable group name from the list.
6. Click the Zoom AI tab.
7. Under Clips, click the Create with avatars toggle to enable or disable it.
8. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
   Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
9. (Optional) To prevent all users in the group from changing this setting, click the lock icon  , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

To enable or disable Zoom Clips AI avatars for your own use:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Settings.
3. In the side menu, click Zoom AI
4. Under Clips, click the Create with avatars toggle to enable or disable it.
   Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You must contact your Zoom admin.
