Managing Zoom Clips settings in the web portal

Zoom Clips allows you to capture videos and share them with others. In the Zoom web portal, you can enable or disable Zoom Clips settings related to the following areas:

How to access Zoom Clips settings

Account

To access settings in the Clips tab on the Zoom web portal for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Clips tab.
  4. Under the setting category, manage the settings.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

To access settings in the Clips tab on the Zoom web portal for a group of users:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
  2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
  3. Click the applicable group name from the list.
  4. Click the Clips tab.
  5. Under the setting category, manage the settings.
  6. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
  7. (Optional) To prevent all users in the group from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

To access settings in the Clips tab on the Zoom web portal for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
  3. Click the Clips tab.
  4. Under the setting category, manage the settings.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.

Sharing
Share clips and playlists

If enabled, choose if the clip owners can share with anyone or if they can only share with users in the same organization. If disabled, only the clip owner and admin can access the clips, and only the clip owner can access the playlist.

Set the default shareable link access setting for clips in your account by selecting one of the following:

  • Anyone with the link: Anyone with the link can view clips from your account.
  • Anyone at your organization: Only users in your organization can view clips from your account.
  • Only invited members can view: Only invited users can view clips from your account.
