Using the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom app

Account owners and admins can add and configure the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom user and admin apps to integrate UKG with their Zoom Workplace for Frontline experience and utilize advanced shift management features.

• A Zoom account owner or Zoom admin
• A UKG account admin

How to install from the Zoom App Marketplace

Installing the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom

1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
2. In the top right of your screen, search for UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom.
3. Click Add.

How to configure the Pro Workforce Management app using the UKG OAuth 

Due to a 1-day authorization expiration limitation, users will need to reconnect once the authorization expires, a day after authenticating.

Configuring UKG using the UKG OAuth 

Please contact UKG Support for the Redirect URL.

1. Log in to UKG.
2. In the main menu, click Administration, then Application Setup.
3. Click Common Setup, then click Client Management. 
4. In the top left, click Create. 
5. Enter the name of the credentials.
6. Select Interactive.
7. For Grant Type, select Authorization Code Flow.
8. Under Redirect URL, enter the redirect URL provided by UKG Support.
9. Under Logout Redirect URL, enter the redirect URL provided by UKG Support.
10. Click Save.

Configuring the Zoom app using the UKG OAuth 

Prior to configuring, you will need to retrieve the tenant host, client ID, and client secret from your UKG account.

1. Log in to the Zoom Marketplace as an admin.
2. Click Manage, then click Apps on Account.
3. Find the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom connector app.
4. Under the Action column, click the More button , then click Configure.
5. Enter the following information:
   • Base URL: Enter the UKG tenant vanity host URL.
   • Client ID: Enter the UKG tenant client ID.
   • Client Secret: Enter the UKG tenant client secret.
   • Authorization URL: Enter "{{Auth URL}}/authorize".
     Note: The default is https://welcome-eval.ukg.net/oauth/token.
   • Access Token URL: Enter “{{Auth URL}}/oauth/token”.
     Note: The default is  https://welcome-eval.ukg.net/oauth/token.
   • Organization: Enter the UKG tenant organization.
   • Audience: Enter https://usersuite.ukg.net/login.
   • Scope: Enter openid profile email access:wfm offline_access read:userinfo.
6. Click Save.

How to configure the Pro Workforce Management app using the UKG Legacy Auth system

Due to a 7-day authorization expiration limitation, users will need to reconnect once the authorization expires, 7 days after authenticating.

Configuring UKG using the UKG Legacy Auth system

Please contact UKG Support for the Redirect URL.

1. Log in to UKG.
2. In the main menu, click Administration, then Application Setup, then System Configuration.
3. In the System Configuration menu, click System Settings, then Global Values.
4. Click global.oAuth.authCode.redirection.uris.
5. Enter the Redirect URL.
6. Click Save.

In addition to adding the redirect URL, UKG administrators will need to set up a API Only user with full access permission. This user will be used as a service account to set up the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom app.

Configuring the Zoom app using the UKG Legacy Auth system

Prior to configuring, you will need to retrieve the tenant host, client ID, and client secret from your UKG account.

1. Log in to the Zoom Marketplace as an admin.
2. Click Manage, then click Apps on Account.
3. Find the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom connector app.
4. Under the Action column, click the More button , then click Configure.
5. Enter the following information:
   • Base URL: Enter the UKG tenant vanity host URL.
   • Client ID: Enter the UKG tenant client ID.
   • Client Secret: Enter the UKG tenant client secret.
   • Authorization URL: Enter “{{Base URL}}/oauth2/authorize”.
   • Access Token URL: Enter “{{Base URL}}/api/authentication/access_token”.
6. Click Save.

How to use the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom features

Once integrated, users can utilize advanced Zoom Frontline features, including punching in/out of shifts, as well as swapping and covering shifts. Additionally, shift managers can view workers' attendance directly within the Shift Summary.

How to remove UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom

1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as the account administrator.
2. In the top right of the page, click Manage.
3. In the navigation menu, click Added Apps.
4. Next to the UKG Pro Workforce Management for Zoom connector app, click Remove.
5. Confirm the dialogue and click Remove.
