Enabling or disabling Clinical Notes in Zoom Workplace for Clinicians

Clinical Notes in Zoom Workplace for Clinicians provides healthcare professionals with an integrated solution for automating clinical note-taking during in-person and virtual patient-physician interactions. Account owners and administrators can enable or disable Clinical Notes at the account or group level to manage access and retention settings.

How to enable or disable Clinical Notes in Zoom Workplace for Clinicians

Account

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Clinical Notes tab.
  4. Click the Enable Clinical Notes toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) Adjust retention settings to define how long notes are available for review.

Note: Admins or owners can choose 7 to 14 days for note retention.

Group

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
  2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
  3. Click the group then click the Clinical Notes tab.
  4. Click the Enable Clinical Notes toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) Adjust retention settings to define how long notes are available for review.

User

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings then the Clinical Notes tab.
  3. Click the Enable Clinical Notes toggle to enable or disable it.

    Note: Clinical Notes must be enabled by an account owner or admin before it can be toggled by a user.

Note: Clinical Notes are enabled by default for users when an admin assigns a Zoom Workplace for Clinicians add-on license.
