Configuring Zoom Workplace for Clinicians
Zoom Workplace for Clinicians can be configured by healthcare professionals to align with their specific area of practice. By customizing Zoom Workplace for Clinicians settings, clinicians can personalize their documentation experience, ensuring that notes are categorized appropriately, reflect their clinical specialty and the relevant features are enabled and tailored to their workflow.
Requirements for Zoom Workplace for Clinicians
- Zoom desktop app for Windows or macOS: 6.4.3 or higher
- Zoom mobile app for Android or iOS: 6.4.5 or higher
- Zoom Workplace for Clinicians add-on
- Clinical Notes enabled
How to configure Zoom Workplace for Clinicians settings
Admin
Format
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
- Click the Clinical Notes tab.
- Configure the following format setting:
- Specify specialty: Define the default clinical specialty for all users in the account.
- Click Save.
Notification
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
- Click the Clinical Notes tab.
- Configure the following notification setting:
- Enable email notification: Allow users to receive email alerts when Clinical Notes are available.
- Click Save.
Storage
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
- Click the Clinical Notes tab.
- Configure the following storage settings:
- Set retention period for Clinical Notes: Select how long Clinical Notes remain stored before deletion.
- Set retention period for Clinical Notes in review: Define how long Clinical Notes stay in review mode before finalization.
- Set retention period for Clinical Notes that are submitted or completed: Specify the retention duration for finalized Clinical Notes.
Group
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
- In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
- Click the group then click the Clinical Notes tab.
- Configure the following group settings:
- Enable Clinical Notes: If permitted by an admin, toggle the setting on or off to enable or disable Clinical Notes.
- Enable email notification: Allow group members to receive email alerts for Clinical Notes.
- Click Save.
User
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Settings, then click the Clinical Notes tab.
- Configure the following user settings:
