Getting started with Phone Number Sign-in
Users can now sign in to their Zoom account using their US phone number and an SMS code or their account password.
Requirements for signing in using a Phone number
Note:
- If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or another SSO method, you cannot add a phone number for sign-in.
- Only one sign-in phone number can be associated with a single Zoom account. If a phone number is already used for sign-in on another Zoom account, it cannot be used again.
- If you're unable to access the option, contact your Zoom admin to enable the feature.
How to add a sign in phone number to your account
- You will be asked to add a sign-in phone number during the Zoom sign-in process.
- You can also add a sign-in phone number when signing up for a new account.
- You can sign in to your Zoom web portal account and add a sign-in phone number under your Profile, in the Sign In section.
Note: You can update your sign-in phone number twice a year.
How to update or delete the sign-in phone number
- Sign in to your Zoom account.
- In the navigation menu, click Profile.
- Under the Sign in section, update or delete your sign-in phone number.
Why am I not able to add a phone number to my account
- Government and military domains are not supported for phone number sign-in.
- Make sure your phone number is not associated with any other Zoom account for sign-in purposes. Use a different US phone number if you believe your current number is already in use on another Zoom account.
- You cannot use a Zoom Phone number for sign-in. You must be able to receive a verification code to sign in.
