To comply with applicable telecommunications regulations in Ireland, Zoom is implementing a mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) process for all Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center administrators requesting Ireland toll-free numbers.
As a result, Zoom will only be able to provision Ireland toll-free numbers once the KYC process has been successfully completed.
The KYC process is a mandatory verification step required before toll-free numbers can be assigned. It helps confirm that the business requesting the number is valid and identifiable. This requirement applies to all carriers and service providers operating in Ireland, including Zoom, under regulations set by the Irish telecom authorities.
Without completing the KYC process, administrators will be unable to obtain Ireland toll-free numbers. This is a regulatory requirement that cannot be bypassed.
Any administrator using Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center who wishes to obtain a toll-free number in Ireland must complete the KYC process.
