Managing assets in Zoom Hub
Zoom Hub helps users with productivity and efficiency by providing centralized access where they can locate and manage their various Zoom assets including docs, whiteboards, clips, meeting recordings, and meeting summaries.

- Zoom desktop app
- Windows: 6.5.5 or higher
- macOS: 6.5.5 or higher
- Linux: 6.5.5 or higher
- Zoom Hub enabled

How to manage assets with folders
Created folders
Hub lets users create folders to efficiently organize their Zoom assets for various purposes. After creating a folder, you can copy its link URL, rename it, copy/move it to another folder, add it to your favorites, or delete it.
Preset folders
Hub provides specialized preset folders, found under My files, to facilitate the management of meeting-related assets. Preset folders can be added to your favorites and their link URL can be copied. They can’t be renamed, moved, or deleted, nor can other assets/folders be moved into them.
How to manage assets with quick actions
Your Zoom Hub lists provide various options to manage assets and folders efficiently. They can be added to favorites, moved to a different folder, renamed, deleted, and more. To use quick actions:
- Access Zoom Hub.
- Find the asset in Zoom Hub from any of the following pages:
- In your chosen asset list, right-click the asset or click the more icon
to its right. - Choose from any of the following quick actions:
- Copy link / Copy link and passcode: Copy the link URL of the asset/folder to share with others.
Note:
- For recordings, Copy link and passcode copies the link URL and the passcode to share with others.
- You can also do this quick action by clicking the copy link icon
.

- Open in browser: Open the asset/folder from your web browser.
Note: This option is available only when you access Hub from Zoom desktop app. - Rename: Change the title of asset/folder.
Note: This option may not be available for assets shared with you. - Share: Share the asset with others.
Note: You can also do this quick action by clicking the share icon
. - Copy to: Copy the asset/folder to the folder where you want it located.
Note: This option may not be available for assets shared with you. - Move to: Move the asset/folder to your preferred folder.
Note:
- Add to starred / Remove from starred: Add or remove the asset/folder to or from your favorites list.
Note: You can also do this quick action by clicking the star icon
. - Lock: Lock the whiteboard asset.
Note: This option is available only to whiteboard assets. - Hide from Recent list: Remove the asset from your Home page's Recent list.
- Recording details: Show details of the recording from the Zoom Web Portal.
- Move to trash: Delete the asset/folder.
Note: This option may not be available for assets shared with you.
How to manage assets with the Meetings list
Zoom Hub has a dedicated Meetings list for users to quickly browse and manage a meeting’s associated recording and summary.
Use quick actions
To use quick actions for a specific meeting’s asset:

Access Zoom Hub.

Under Browse files by, click Meetings.

Choose from the following options under the chosen meeting:

Hover over its asset’s thumbnail and click the more icon
.

Click View meeting details, then right-click an asset or click the more icon
to its right.
- Choose from the available quick actions.
Generate summary
In addition to access to the meeting summaries generated by AI Companion during the meeting, users can also generate a summary from Hub using custom templates. This feature uses the transcript as reference, and is recommended when the meeting host did not enable meeting summary.
To create a customized meeting summary from Hub:

Access Zoom Hub.
- Under Browse files by, click Meetings.
- Under the chosen meeting, click View meeting details.
- Choose from the following options:
- In the top-right corner, click Created from the meeting.
- To the right of Create from meeting, click the plus icon
.
- Select from the list of basic and advanced templates, then click Create.
