Enabling or disabling Voice Recorder with AI Companion
Voice Recorder with AI Companion allows users to record real-world conversations directly from the Zoom mobile app. The recordings are saved as audio files and are also transcribed and summarized using AI Companion. As an account owner or admin, you can manage the availability of this feature for users in your account by enabling or disabling it at the account, group, or user level.
Requirements for managing Voice Recorder with AI Companion
- Pro, Pro Plus, Business, Business Plus, Education, or Enterprise account
- Account owner or admin privileges
- AI Companion enabled
- Zoom mobile app version 6.4.5 or higher
- Cloud recording enabled
- Automated captions enabled
- Meeting summary with AI Companion enabled
How to enable or disable Voice Recorder
Account
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management, then click Account Settings.
- Click the AI Companion tab.
- Under Recording, click the Voice recorder with AIC toggle to enable or disable the feature.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to confirm the change.
Group
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click User Management, then Groups.
- Click the name of the group you want to configure.
- Click the AI Companion tab.
- Under Recording, click the Voice recorder with AIC toggle to enable or disable the feature.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to confirm the change.
User
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Settings.
- Click the AI Companion tab.
- Under Recording, click the Voice recorder with AIC toggle to enable or disable the feature.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to confirm the change.
