Sync Zoom Room, workspace room and desk names with Zoom Calendar resources

Account owners and admins can configure Zoom Rooms and workspace names to automatically sync with their corresponding Zoom Calendar resource names. When you update a room or desk name in Workspace Reservation, the associated calendar resource name updates automatically without affecting existing reservations or requiring users to rebook.

How to sync Zoom Room and calendar names

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Room Management, then Zoom Rooms
  3. Click the Rooms tab. 
  4. Select the room you want to edit, then click the Edit button.
  5. Click the Rooms Profile tab.
  6. Under Basic, then Room Name, click the Pencil icon to edit.
  7. Enter the new room name in the Room Name field.
  8. Click Save.
    The associated Zoom Calendar resource name will automatically update to match the new Zoom Room name.

How to sync Workspace room and calendar names

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Workspace Management, then Workspaces.
  3. Click the Workspaces tab.
  4. Select the workspace you want to edit, then click the Edit button.
  5. Under Basic, then Workspace Name, click the Pencil icon to edit.
  6. Enter the new workspace name in the Workspace Name field.
  7. Click Save.
    The associated Zoom Calendar resource name will automatically update to match the new Workspace name.

If you don't see the name update reflected in all locations, please wait a few minutes for the changes to propagate through the system.
