Adding and managing comments in Zoom Tasks

Users can easily track task updates with a comprehensive activity log and join the conversation by adding or editing comments. Anyone with access to the task can see the comment history and contribute to the conversation, making it easy to stay in sync when collaborating on a task.

How to add a comment to a task

Windows | macOS | Linux
  1. Sign in to the Zoom Workplace app.
  2. Click the Tasks tab .
    Note: If you do not see the Tasks tab, click the More tab, then click Tasks
  3. Select My Tasks, All TasksStarred Tasks, or a Personal List.
  4. Click on the desired task.
  5. In the top right corner, click the Comment button .
  6. (Optional) Enter the @ symbol followed by a person’s display name to search through users, and click the name of the person you want to mention.
  7. Enter the message.
  8. Click the Send button .

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Tasks.
  3. Select My Tasks, All TasksStarred Tasks, or a Personal List.
  4. Click on the desired task.
  5. In the top right corner, click the Comment button .

How to edit a comment within a task
