Limitations for accessing enhanced call history
Accessing enhanced call history has the following limitation:
- Starting November 2025, if you continue using an older version of the Zoom client (below 6.5.5), you will no longer be able to access call log history within Zoom Phone.
How to understand enhanced call history features
The enhanced call history in Zoom Phone includes several improvements over the previous version:
Universal call logs
- All calls (answered or unanswered) appear in your call history.
- When multiple users receive the same call, each user will see the call in their history, even if someone else answered it.
Enhanced call status tracking
The following are inbound call status labels:
- Missed: User took no action on the incoming call.
- Rejected: User declined the call (does not mark as unread).
- Answered: User picked up the call.
Call queue, shared line group, and shared line appearance support improvements
- If a call is placed on hold and another user picks it up, the call history will show who took over the call.
- For shared line group (SLG) calls, all members will see which member answered the call.
- The Accepted by xxx feature supports call queues (CQ), shared line appearance (SLA), and shared line groups (SLG).
Advanced filtering and blocking
- The multi-select filtering option is available only in the new call history.
- When you block a number, all past and future calls from that number will be marked as blocked (previously, blocking affected only a single call record).
Additional features enabled by the new call history
The new call history enables the following features:
- Call queue callback history display
- Call switch history tracking
- Extension-to-extension call logs
- Billable hour reporting post-call
How to upgrade your Zoom Workplace app
