Setting up email 2FA for public profit 10DLC brands
All Zoom customers with a “Public Profit” legal form registering 10DLC brands and SMS campaigns in the U.S. or Canada are required to complete mandatory email-based two-factor authentication (2FA).
The Campaign Registry (TCR) has enforced this requirement for all newly created Public Profit brands since October 2024. Zoom supports this verification process in alignment with TCR requirements. However, some brands created before this enforcement may still be unverified.
The Campaign Registry (TCR) requires all Public Profit companies to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) verification for their 10DLC brands used for SMS messaging in the US and Canada. This verification helps ensure the legitimacy of SMS traffic and prevents blocking by mobile operators.
All Zoom customers with public profit brands are urged to complete the verification process as soon as possible by following the steps below.
Requirements for completing 2FA verification
- A Zoom account with a Public Profit legal form
- Registered 10DLC brands for SMS messaging in the U.S./Canada
- Access to the email account used when creating the 10DLC campaign
How to complete 2FA verification for 10DLC brands
Note: You must complete the 2FA verification for each individual 10DLC brand you are registering.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Number Management then SMS Campaigns.
- In the My Brands section, review your registered 10DLC brands:
- If you see a green lock and shield icon
next to your 10DLC brand, your 2FA email verification is already complete. Hovering over this icon will show text stating "The 2FA email has been completed". No further action is required for this brand. - If you see a red lock and shield icon
next to your 10DLC brand, you have not yet completed your 2FA verification for your brand. You must complete the 2FA verification for this brand.
- For brands with a red icon, hover over the icon to view the message "A 2FA email from TCR has been sent to [email address]".
This is the email address of the person who created the 10DLC campaign and indicates where the verification email was sent. - Check for a verification email from noreply@auth.campaignregistry.com in your inbox, spam, and junk folders.
- In the verification email, click the Complete Verification button.
You will be directed to the verification page. - On the verification page, complete the following steps:
- Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Job Title.
Note: The verification PIN will be auto-populated. - Select the I'm not a robot captcha checkbox.
- Click the Complete button.
You will receive a confirmation that verification is complete. The red icon displayed against your brand will change to a green icon, indicating successful verification.

All Public Profit 10DLC brands must complete this verification by October 31, 2025, or risk having their SMS traffic blocked.
