Using MoMo Pay as a Zoom payment method

Zoom accepts MoMo Pay as a payment method for customers who meet the eligibility criteria.

Requirements for paying with MoMo Pay

• One of the following:
  • Customer making an active (net-new) purchase through one of the following scenarios:
    • Existing free Zoom account upgrading to a paid Zoom account
    • Existing free Zoom account resubscribing to a paid Zoom account (has an old, existing payment method on file)
    • New Zoom customer purchasing an account
  • Customer with existing MoMo Pay payment method purchasing an account upgrade
• Transacting in VND currency
• Billing address in Vietnam

Note: Online purchase of Cloud Recording, Zoom Phone, Audio Conferencing, and Conference Room Connector is not currently supported with this payment method.

How to use MoMo Pay as your Zoom payment method

1. Start your purchase from the Zoom Plans and Pricing page and follow the instructions on screen.
2. Once you reach the payment step, in the Payment Method section, click MoMo Pay.
3. If you're on a desktop or laptop:
   1. A MoMo Pay QR code will appear on the screen.
   2. Open the MoMo app on your mobile device.
   3. Tap Scan & Pay, then scan the QR code displayed on the Zoom checkout page.
   4. Review the payment details in the app.
   5. Confirm the payment using your MoMo PIN or biometric authentication.
   6. Upon successful payment, you'll be redirected back to Zoom's confirmation page.
4. If you're on a mobile device:
   1. After selecting MoMo Pay, you'll be redirected to the MoMo app.
   2. Log in using your phone number and enter the verification code received via SMS.
   3. Review the payment details presented.
   4. Confirm the payment using your MoMo PIN or biometric authentication.
   5. Once the payment is successful, you'll be redirected back to Zoom's confirmation page.
5. After successful authorization, you’ll be redirected back to Zoom. Click on Place Order.
   Your account will be set up almost immediately and you will receive an email confirming your subscription details. Once you receive confirmation, you can review your subscription and print your invoice after placing your order.

How to pay for invoices and account upgrades with MoMo Pay

To pay your invoices, make sure MoMo Pay is your payment method as stated in the How to use MoMo Pay as your Zoom payment method section, then your payment method will automatically be used without any further action needed.

If you used MoMo Pay as your payment method when purchasing a Zoom account, you can also purchase upgrades to your account using MoMo Pay. 

How to change your Zoom payment method to MoMo Pay

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click Plans and Billing then Billing Management.
3. In the Payment Method section, next to your current payment method, click the ellipses icon .
4. Click Edit payment method.
5. Click Change Payment.
6. Select MoMo Pay and follow the same steps as stated in the How to use MoMo Pay as your Zoom payment method section.
