Enabling international SMS
Zoom Phone SMS allows phone users to send and receive text messages (SMS) using the Zoom desktop or mobile app. You can also enable international SMS to allow phone users to send SMS messages to certain countries/regions.

Notes:
- Messages sent to international phone numbers will be metered according to the international messaging rate table. You can view SMS charges in the phone usage reports.
- This feature needs to be enabled on your account by Zoom. After contacting Zoom, please allow up to 3 business days for the feature to be enabled.
- You can set up 10DLC for person-to-person messaging and set a data retention policy for SMS using site-level policy settings.
Requirements for setting up international SMS
Note: To use SMS, additional prerequisites are required for phone users.
How to specify allowed countries/regions for SMS
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Billing.
- In the Zoom Phone row, click View All Plans.
- Click View/Edit Countries/Regions.
- In the dialog box, select the SMS tab.
- Search for or check the countries/regions where users can send SMS.
- Click Save.
How to allow international SMS
- Ensure SMS is enabled at the level that you want to manage.
- Under SMS, select Allow International SMS.
- Click Manage Country/Region.
- In the dialog box, select the countries/regions that phone users can send SMS messages to, then click Save.
