Recurring Zoom meetings visibility and access issues

Issue

Users may experience various issues with recurring Zoom meetings visibility and accessibility, such as:

  • Recurring meetings are disappearing from the upcoming or previous meetings list.
  • Meetings disappear when recurrence settings are edited or the end date is extended.
  • Inability to locate meetings scheduled with No Fixed Time settings.
  • Meetings are no longer visible once the expiration or end date is reached.
  • Recurring meetings appear in unexpected locations within the meetings interface.
  • Meetings are remaining functional via direct links, but not visible in the meetings list.

Cause

Recurring meeting visibility issues occur due to several factors:

  • Zoom's 3-month default display window limits the visibility of meetings scheduled beyond this timeframe.
  • Recurring meetings with No Fixed Time are placed at the bottom of the meetings list rather than chronologically.
  • Expired end dates cause meetings to move from the upcoming to the previous meetings tab.
  • Meetings scheduled far in the past or future fall outside standard view ranges.
  • Meeting configuration changes can affect where meetings appear in the interface.
  • Automatic system cleanup removes old meetings from standard views after extended periods.

Resolution

Access missing meetings using the direct URL method

If you cannot locate your meeting but know the meeting ID, do the following:

Note: This method works for both visible and missing meetings as long as you have the meeting ID.

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to the meeting using the direct URL format: https://zoom.us/meeting/MEETING-ID
  2. Replace MEETING-ID with your actual meeting ID (9, 10, or 11 digits).
  3. Press Enter to load the meeting details page.
  4. From this page, you can view, edit, or manage the meeting settings.

Locate recurring meetings with no fixed time

If you cannot find your meeting that was set up without a fixed time, do the following:

Note: Meetings with no fixed time always appear at the bottom of the upcoming meetings list, separated from scheduled meetings.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Meetings, then Upcoming.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the last page of results.
  4. Change the display setting to show 100 meetings per page for easier navigation.
  5. Look for your recurring meeting in the Recurring section at the bottom.

Adjust the date range to view meetings outside the default window

If your meeting is scheduled outside standard view ranges (Zoom's default view shows only 3 months of upcoming meetings), use the date filters to locate it as follows:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Meetings in the navigation panel.
  3. Click the calendar icon or date filter option.
  4. Adjust the date range to include the time period when your meeting is scheduled.
  5. Apply the filter to display meetings within the selected timeframe.

Find meetings that moved to the previous meetings tab

After a meeting date has expired, it won’t show up in the Upcoming Meetings tab but will be available in the Previous Meetings tab. To find and reuse it, follow these steps:

  1. In the Zoom web portal, navigate to Meetings.
  2. Click the Previous tab.
  3. Adjust the date range to include when the meeting was originally scheduled.
  4. Locate the meeting in the filtered results.
  5. Edit the meeting to update dates and move it back to upcoming meetings.

Restore expired recurring meetings

If you can’t find a recurring meeting in the Upcoming Meetings tab, it has likely expired. To continue using it, locate the meeting and update the date, or consider setting it to No Fixed Time so it never expires. Follow these steps:

  1. Access the meeting directly using the URL format: https://zoom.us/meeting/MEETING-ID
  2. Click Edit to modify the meeting settings.
  3. Under the Recurrence section, update the end date to a future date.
  4. Alternatively, change the recurrence setting to No Fixed Time.
This prevents the meeting from expiring and ensures it remains accessible indefinitely.
  5. Click Save to apply the changes.
The meeting will reappear in your upcoming meetings list with the updated settings.

For additional information about managing recurring meetings, refer to scheduling a recurring meeting.

Recover meetings from the recently deleted list

If you deleted a meeting and can’t find it, you can recover it within one week of deletion. To restore it, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Meetings in the navigation menu.
  3. Click Recently Deleted in the top-right area of the page.
  4. Locate the missing meeting in the list.
  5. Click Recover for the meeting you want to restore.
The meeting will be restored to your active meetings list.
