Understanding Bidirectional sync 2.0

Bidirectional sync 2.0 allows calendar events to automatically sync across all integrated applications, such as the Zoom web portal, Zoom Workplace app, and integrated calendars. Bidirectional sync 2.0 is currently available to limited select customers and is enabled by default and will gradually be rolled out to all paid users in future releases.

With Bidirectional sync 2.0, Zoom caches a total of 24 months of all calendar event types — six months of historical data and 18 months of future events. This expanded caching not only enhances reliability but also allows users to manage their calendar directly within the Zoom Workplace app without switching back to their native calendars.
