Using the Videos tab in VOD analytics
Hub users can use the Video On Demand (VOD) Analytics Videos tab to understand the viewership of VOD content. The total number of views that the videos received, the total number of unique viewers for each video, and the view duration are displayed in the analytics.

Requirements for managing the Videos tab in VOD analytics
Note: To access the latest Zoom Webinars Plus and Events features, the complete VOD CMS experience, and the ability to create multiple video channels, hosts must update to the most recent version of the Zoom desktop or mobile app and ensure their account has the Advanced video CMS license.
How to access the VOD Analytics Videos tab
- Create a video channel or edit a video channel.
You will be directed to the video channel setup. - In the channel setup's left navigation menu, click Analytics.
- At the top of the page, under Channel Analytics, click the Videos tab.

Metric tiles
At the top of the Videos tab, view the following metrics:
- Channel page visits: The total number of times the VOD channel page was accessed. Includes multiple visits by the same viewer.
- Total video impressions: The number of times the video player was loaded. Includes multiple loads by the same viewer and excludes the playlist displayed in the right rail of the video player.
- Total channel registrations: The total number of times users submitted the registration form for the channel. All user roles are included.
- Total video views: The total number of views across all videos in the channel. Includes repeated views by the same viewers.
- Total watch time: The total accumulated viewing time for the channel, displayed in hours. Values are rounded to the nearest whole hour.
- Unique video views: The total number of unique views across all videos. If one unique viewer watches 10 videos, all 10 views are counted in this total.
Tables, graphs, and charts
Below the metric tiles, view the following information:
Top 10 videos
Displays the top 10 videos for the channel based on the selected metric. By default, the chart uses Total views, which counts each play click as one view, with no waiting period required. When a different metric is selected from the dropdown
menu, the list updates to show the top 10 videos ranked by that metric. Use the following controls to interact with the chart:
- Tooltip: In the top-left corner, click the information icon
to view a description of the chart. - Time period: In the top-right corner, use the dropdown
to change the chart’s display interval. The following options are available:
- Last 7 days
- Last 4 weeks
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Metric selection: In the top-right corner, use the dropdown
menu to choose which metric to display. The chart updates to show the top 10 videos based on the selected metric. The following options are available:
- Total views: The total number of times the video was played.
- Unique views: The number of unique viewers who watched the video.
- Average watch time: The average total watch time for the video.
- Comments: The total number of comments left on the video.
- Poll and quiz responses: The total number of responses submitted.
- Q&A questions asked: The total number of questions asked.
- Export/download: In the top-right corner, click the download icon
to download a CSV report. The downloaded CSV file includes the same 10 videos listed in the chart, ordered by the selected metric.
Video-to-view funnel
Displays a three-part funnel chart on the Videos tab that shows how viewers engage with video content over a selected time period. Each level of the funnel is represented by a different color in the chart and shows how viewer engagement decreases through each stage:
- Total video impressions: Represents the number of times the video player was loaded. The video does not need to be played to count as an impression.
- Total views: Represents the total number of times videos were played. Includes repeat plays of the same video by the same viewers.
- Unique video views: Represents the number of unique video views. For example, if one viewer watches 10 different videos, this counts as 10 unique views.
- Total unique viewers: Represents the total number of distinct viewers who watched at least one video, regardless of how many videos they viewed.
Use the following controls to interact with the funnel chart:
- Tooltip: In the top-left corner, click the information icon
to view a description of the chart. - Time period: In the top-right corner, use the dropdown
to change the chart’s display interval. The following options are available:
- Last 7 days
- Last 4 weeks
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Export/download: In the top-right corner, click the download icon
to download a CSV report.
Comparing videos
Displays a bar chart that compares the 10 most recently published videos based on the selected metric. By default, the chart uses Video views. Use the following controls to interact with the chart:
- Tooltip: In the top-left corner, click the information icon
to view a description of the chart. - Time period: In the top-right corner, use the dropdown
to change the chart’s display interval. The following options are available:
- Last 7 days
- Last 4 weeks
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Metric selection: In the top-right corner, use the dropdown
menu to choose which metric to display. The following options are available:
- Video views: Displays two bars for each video—one for total views and one for unique views.
- Total views: The total number of times the video was played, including repeated plays by the same viewer.
- Unique views: The number of distinct viewers who watched the video, regardless of how many times they viewed it.
- Total watch time: Displays the total accumulated watch time for each video. The Y-axis shows the duration in minutes.
- Completion rate: Displays the percentage of unique viewers who watched at least 95% of the video.
- Apply filters: In the top right corner, click the filter icon
to filter the table contents according to your preferences.
- The default time filter is set to the last 30 days.
- The default set of videos includes the 10 most recently uploaded. If upload dates are the same, videos are sorted alphabetically.
- The list loads up to 50 videos at a time, which can be scrolled and selected for comparison.
- Export/download: In the top-right corner, click the download icon
to download a CSV report.
Video performance table
This table provides detailed analytics for each video in the VOD channel, helping hosts evaluate performance metrics such as impressions, views, watch time, and engagement. Use this table to review how each video performs individually and across the channel to identify top-performing content and viewer behavior trends.
Perform the following actions in the Video performance table:
- Sort: To the right of any column header, click the sort icon
to reorder the table rows by that column. Click once to sort in ascending order (for example, A to Z or smallest to largest), and click again to switch to descending order. A visual indicator appears beside the header to show the current sort direction. - Apply filter options: In the top-right corner, click the filter icon
to refine the table contents according to your preferences. - Search: In the top-right corner, use the search bar
to find specific videos by title. - Download CSV: In the top-right corner, click the download icon
to download a CSV report containing all visible data in the table. - Enable or disable columns: In the top-right corner, click the settings icon
to open the column dropdown. Toggle columns on or off to customize the table view, then click Apply to confirm. To restore the default view, click Clear or Reset. The following columns are available:
- Video: The title of the video.
- Upload date: The date the video was uploaded to the channel.
- Video length: The total duration of the video.
- Total video impressions: The number of times the video player was loaded. The video does not need to be played to count as an impression.
- Total views: The total number of times the video was played, including repeated plays by the same viewer.
- Unique views: The number of distinct viewers who watched the video, regardless of how many times they viewed it.
- Total watch time: The total accumulated time viewers spent watching the video.
- Average watch time: The average amount of time viewers watched the video.
- Completion rate: The percentage of unique viewers who watched at least 95% of the video.
- Total comments: The total number of comments left on the video.
- Total poll and quiz responses: The total number of responses submitted through polls and quizzes.
- Total Q&A questions asked: The total number of questions asked during the video.
- Total current reactions: The total number of emoji reactions received on the video.
- Resource document downloads: The total number of times viewers downloaded attached resource documents.
Zoom Webinars Plus and Events VOD Channel analytics has been redesigned for greater clarity and smoother navigation. The new experience is active by default, but if you prefer, switch back to legacy analytics by clicking the Switch to legacy analytics toggle at the top of Channel analytics. You can switch back and forth as desired at any time.
