Enabling or disabling video channel creation
Account owners and admins can manage creator permissions for specific user groups or the entire account. By default, video channel creation is enabled for most accounts, but account owners and administrators can enable or disable it for specific user groups or for the entire account.

How to enable or disable video channel creation
Account
To enable or disable video channel creation for all users in the account:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management, then Account Settings.
- Click the Video Management tab.
- Under General, click the Allow users to create video channels toggle to enable or disable it.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
- (Optional) If you want to make these settings mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon
, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
Group
To enable or disable video channel creation for a group of users:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
- Click the desired user group or create a new group.
- Click the Video Management tab.
- Under General, click the Allow users to create video channels toggle to enable or disable it.
- If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
- (Optional) If you want to make these settings mandatory for all users in the selected group, click the lock icon
