How to troubleshoot Zoom error code 117001
Update Zoom
Uninstall and reinstall the Zoom application
Clear Zoom cache and cookies
Restart the Zoom application
- In the top-right corner, click the
icon to close the Zoom application window.
Note: In your computer's taskbar, you can also right-click the Zoom desktop icon, then click Quit Zoom Workplace. - After waiting for a few seconds, reopen Zoom from your applications list.
Perform general troubleshooting
- Restart your device or browser.
- Uninstall conflicting applications. If you have security or eID applications installed, especially government-related ones, try uninstalling them temporarily to see if the problem is resolved.
- Update your graphics driver. An outdated or faulty graphics driver can cause screen-sharing issues. Download and install the latest driver from your GPU manufacturer's website.
