Rating and reviewing apps on the Zoom App Marketplace

On the Zoom App Marketplace, the app Reviews & ratings feature allows you to view app feedback from others to help you make informed decisions when assessing apps. You can rate the apps you use and write reviews about your experiences with them. App developers can reply to reviews on apps they have developed or own.

How to use the Zoom App Marketplace app rating system

1. Open the Zoom App Marketplace.
2. Search for and select the Marketplace app you want to review or view ratings for.
3. Scroll to the Reviews & ratings section, which includes the following information:
   • Overall rating: If the app has enough ratings, the total average score is shown out of five stars.
   • Reviews: View the ratings and reviews provided by other app subscribers. App Developers may respond to customer reviews.
   • Submit your own rating and review: This feature allows current app subscribers to provide their rating and review of the app. Before reviewing an app, ensure your review complies with Zoom’s content guidelines for rating and reviewing apps.
     Notes:
     • The ability to rate and review an app is currently available to app subscribers who are on a Zoom Workplace Business account or higher.
     • You must be signed in to your account on the Zoom App Marketplace to submit a review.

Zoom Use of Ratings and Reviews. Ratings and Reviews may be displayed on the Zoom App Marketplace Platform in Zoom’s sole discretion.

Content guidelines for rating and reviewing apps

When reviewing apps on the Zoom App Marketplace, take note of the following content guidelines.

App reviewers should:

• Provide their app rating and feedback based on their experience using the app
• Provide clear, honest insight that helps developers improve and lets future app subscribers know what to expect when they install the app
• Share accurate, factual, and relevant feedback (functionality, reliability, value, etc.)

App reviewers should not:

• Provide any content that breaks our Acceptable Use Guidelines
• Make any false, misleading, or promotional claims
• Manipulate the app rating system in any way

Get support for an app

If you need app support, click the Developer Support link shown under the Developer Resources section on the app’s listing page. This will open the support resources provided by the developer and may include the developer’s own support documentation and methods for contacting their support team.
