Bulk deploying Hybrid Meeting module services

While administrators can deploy Zoom Node services for the Hybrid Meeting module  individually, they can also bulk deploy the services. Bulk deployment streamlines rollout by enabling the rapid distribution of preconfigured services that are ready for immediate use, reducing administrative effort.

How to deploy the Bulk Deployment Manager tool for the Meetings Hybrid module

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management, then click Modules.
  3. Click the drop-down button , and click Meetings Hybrid.
  4. On the Services tab, click Add Services.
  5. Click Bulk Deployment Manager.
    Note: If bulk deploying Meeting Hybrid services, click Core, then click Bulk Deployment Manager.
  6. Under Install on a node, select the server where you want to deploy the service.
  7. Under Internal IP, enter the service's internal IP address.
    The Bulk Deployment Manager component will begin the installation. Once complete, the Bulk Deployment Manager service status will be Running.

How to bulk deploy services for the Meetings Hybrid module

Once services have been deployed, the services can be reconfigured if the deployed settings are not desirable.
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management, then click Modules.
  3. Click the drop-down button , and click Meetings Hybrid.
  4. Click the Add multiple services button
  5. Click either Core (Meeting Hybrid services), Survivability (Meeting Hybrid services), or Recording (Recording Hybrid services).
  6. (Optional) Under Task name, enter the desired name for the deployment.
  7. Under Zone, select the meeting zone(s) the services will be deployed for.
    Note: Click + New Zone, to create a new Meeting zone or Recording zone.
  8. (Optional) Under Dedicated single node service, select if a service should be deployed to its own Node server for improved performance.
  9. Enter the number of instances for each desired service.
    Note: By default, the suggested number of service instances will be populated. In addition, the maximum number of supported instances will be listed, which can not be exceeded.
  10. Under Service naming strategy, select the naming convention for the services:
  11. Click Preview.
  12. (Optional) If external access is required: Under the NAT column, enable network address translation and enter the External IP address and Public prefix for the desired services.
  13. Click Install.
    The deployment will begin.
  14. Click View Process to view the deployment progress.
  15. (Optional) Click Terminate to cancel the deployment.
    If there are any issues with deploying a service, the service deployment Status will be listed as Install failed.
  16. Once installation is complete, on the Services tab, click Batch start to start the newly deployed services.
