Using activities in Zoom Whiteboard

Activities are interactive templates you can run directly on a Zoom Whiteboard to collect input, spark discussion, or energize a session. They are designed for live collaboration and structured participation, all in one place.

How to run activity sessions

Start a session

  1. When you're ready to run the activity, select Start a session.

All participants are brought into the activity view and see the same prompt. Everyone can begin responding at the same time while the activity remains anchored on the canvas as part of your board.

Submit responses

For activities that collect input, participants submit their response from the bottom right corner of the activity.

  1. Complete your response by dragging items, selecting options, typing words, or voting depending on the activity.
  2. Select Submit my response.

Your response is captured once you select submit.

How to view activity results

After responses are submitted, the host can review results directly from the activity.

Results stay attached to the activity so you can revisit them later or continue discussion on the board.
