Using Zoom for Cisco Rooms

Zoom and Cisco are partnering to provide customers with more choice and flexibility with Zoom for Cisco Rooms, giving customers the same high-quality Zoom Meetings experience on Cisco hardware. Zoom for Cisco Rooms provides an enhanced experience when compared to traditional SIP/H.323 (Zoom CRC) connections. Meeting participants can join meetings and share content seamlessly, as well as control various layouts like gallery view and multi-speaker view.

How to Join a meeting from a Cisco device

  1. On the home screen tap the Zoom icon.
  2. Input the required information, then tap Join again.
  3. (Optional) Tap Join to the right of the scheduled Zoom meeting.
    Note: This requires a calendar integration. 

Link a device to Zoom Rooms

  1. From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to the Devices page and select the device you want to link to Zoom Rooms.
  2. On the device details page, go to the Configurations tab. Select Zoom Rooms: Activate and enter the activation code that you created in the Zoom web portal.
  3. Click Activate. The device reboots and is now able to join Zoom Meetings in signed-in mode.
    To see if a device has been linked to Zoom Rooms, go to the device settings menu on the device UI. Swipe to open the control panel and select Settings. Scroll to Network and service. If the device is linked, Zoom Rooms activation states Activated.
