Hiding social media buttons in Zoom Docs

Zoom Docs makes it easy for individual creators and business teams to extend the reach of their published content by sharing it directly to popular social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Reddit. To help organizations stay in control, admins can manage whether users see social sharing options at the account level. By default, this setting is enabled but can be disabled at the account level.

Note: Disabling the social media buttons in Zoom Doc does not prevent a user from manually sharing the doc link on social media.

How to hide the share to social media buttons in Zoom Docs

Account

To enable or disable Allow users to see the buttons to share to social media for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Docs tab.
  4. Under Other Settings, click the Allow users to see the buttons to share to social media toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock  icon, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
