At this time, customers must contact Zoom Sales or their dedicated Account Executive to purchase the Zoom Enhanced Media add-on.

How do I assign Enhanced Media licenses to users on my Zoom account?

After purchasing the Zoom Enhanced Media add-on, the account owner or an admin can assign the add-on to users in the Zoom web portal.

To assign the Zoom Enhanced Media license to an existing user:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an account owner or admin.
  2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
  3. Locate or search for the user you want to assign the Zoom Enhanced Media add-on to.
  4. At the end of the user row, click Edit.
    The Edit User window will open, where you can add or remove permissions from the user.
  5. In the Licenses and add-ons section, select the check box next to Zoom Enhanced Media.
    Note: To use the Zoom Enhanced Media add-on, the user must also have either a Zoom Meetings Basic permission or a paid Zoom Workplace license.
  6. Click Save.

How do I use Enhanced Media features? What are the user requirements?

Using 60fps content sharing

The only Enhanced Media feature that requires user selection is 1080p/60fps content sharing, which you can enable when you share your screen during a meeting or event.

  1. In the meeting controls toolbar, click the Share icon .
    The screen share modal will open.
  2. Choose which screen you want to share.
  3. In the right panel, under Share options, do the following:
    1. Select the Optimize for video sharing check box to enable it.
    2. In the drop-down, select 720p 60fps or 1080p 60fps.
  4. (Optional) Enable or disable other sharing options as needed.
  5. Click Share.
    When the sharing process is started and 80% of devices acknowledge receiving the shared screen, you will see a notification banner stating Participants can now see your shared screen.

Automatically optimize for video sharing

In your Zoom Workplace desktop app settings, you can also choose to automatically optimize screen share content for video sharing, along with your preferred resolution and frame rate.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app.
  2. Click your profile picture, then click Settings.
  3. Click the Share screen tab .
  4. Scroll to the bottom, then click Advanced.
  5. In the Advanced share screen section, click the Automatically optimize for video sharing toggle to enable it.
  6. Select your preferred resolution and frame rate.
    Note: This setting is only available to users who have the Zoom Enhanced Media license.
  7. When you share your screen, the Optimize for video sharing setting will automatically be enabled with your preferred resolution and frame rate.

Is there a participant limit when using Enhanced Media features?

Zoom Enhanced Media features support up to 100 participants (meeting and rooms combined). For meetings or events that expand beyond 100 participants, Enhanced Media will default to standard Zoom media delivery for all participants throughout the remainder of the active session.
