Connecting Confluence to Zoom AI Studio improves the outcomes of your AI Companion by providing it with direct access to your internal documentation and collaborative spaces.

How to connect the Confluence Data Source integration

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click AI Studio, then Integrations.
  3. Select Data Source settings.
  4. Locate the Confluence card and click + Connect.
  5. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection with your Atlassian credentials.
  6. Once the connection is created, return to the Integrations tab. If needed, click Refresh and make sure the Confluence data source is connected and visible.

How to configure sync settings

Once connected, you can use granular rules to control which spaces and creators are indexed by the AI.

  1. On the Confluence Data Source page, scroll to Sync settings.
  2. Click Save to apply your configuration.

Configuring content access and user groups

To ensure data security, you must define which groups have permission to use the Confluence data source within Zoom.

How to configure user groups

  1. At the bottom of the page, access the Content access section.
  2. Under User group, use the dropdown menu to select the specific groups that have access to Confluence.
    Note: Only users in these selected groups can use this data source.
  3. (Optional) Manage your group information from your Atlassian administration portal.
  4. Click Save.
