Issues using WebView with the Zoom VDI client

Issue 

WebView in the Zoom client does not function correctly on Windows Server 2016. Users may observe the login page reverting to an older design under certain conditions.

The issue occurs due to compatibility limitations between the Zoom client’s WebView component and the specified Windows Server 2016 build, which may not fully support the required WebView runtime features.

Recommended Solution

Upgrade Windows Server 2016 to the latest available patch version to ensure compatibility with the current WebView runtime and Zoom client features.

Workaround

Instead of upgrading Windows Server 2016, users can use the WebView runtime version 109.0.1518.49 as an alternative:

  1. Download the corresponding CAB package.
  2. Extract the package contents to the following directory: 
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\ZoomVDI\plugin\webview2_x64
