Using Snowflake with ZoomMate and Zoom Virtual Agent
This article explains how to enable and manage the integration between ZoomMate, Zoom Virtual Agent and Snowflake through the Zoom web portal.

Snowflake requirements
- Snowflake app approved in Zoom Marketplace
- Supported browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox (latest version)
- Use of Snowflake in agentic workflows requires ZoomMate.
- For Workflows: To use an app in Workflows, the app must first be admin approved in the Marketplace.
Zoom Virtual Agent requirements
- Account owner or admin privileges for the Zoom web portal
- Basic, Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
- Zoom Virtual Agent license
- Edit access to Virtual Agent product
- Zoom desktop app
- Windows: 7.0.5 or higher
- macOS: 7.0.5 or higher
- Linux: 7.0.5 or higher

How to enable Zoom Virtual Agent Snowflake integration
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click AI Studio, then Integrations.
- In the Marketplace tools, click Snowflake, then Connect.
A new tab will open to begin the authentication process.
- If you are already logged into Snowflake, your credentials will not be requested.
- If you are not logged in, enter your Snowflake credentials and submit them.
- Click Save.
Once authentication is successful, the integration will appear on your Integrations page with a Connected status.
How to use Snowflake integration with ZVA voice or chat agents
- In the navigation menu, click AI Studio, then Tool Templates.
- Click the Marketplace tab.
- Expand Snowflake for Zoom to view the list of supported tools.
- Create a voice or chat agent and use the desired Snowflake tools accordingly.
Data security
Communications between this app and Zoom/Okta are encrypted:
- Protocol: TLS 1.2
- Cipher suite: ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
- Key length: 128 bits
- Perfect Forward Secrecy: YES
This app stores access credentials in the local data store:
- Okta OAuth2 tokens and Zoom OAuth credentials (both user-level only) are stored in an encrypted database.
