Adding tables in Zoom Slides
If you need to clearly present and organize information, for example, when showcasing data or comparing details in your slides, you can use the table feature to help structure your content within your presentation.
Requirements for adding tables in Zoom Slides
How to add a table to a slide
- Create or open a presentation.
- In the top toolbar, click the Table icon
. - Select the number of desired rows and columns.
A new table will be added to the list. - Click within a cell to add or remove content to it.
How to manage a table
- Within a slide, click on the desired table.
- The table toolbar will appear with the following options:
- Text size: Select the size of the text within all cells in the table.
- Text color
: Select the color of the text within all cells in the table. - Align
: Select the alignment for text within all cells in the table. - Add a comment
: Add a comment to the table. - More
: Will open the Design tool with additional table options.
Manage a table with the Design tool
To manage a table using the Design tool:
- Within a slide, click on the desired table.
- In the toolbar, click the More icon
.
Alternatively, to the right of the slide, click the Design tool. - The following options will be available:
- Size & Position: Adjust the size and position of the table within the slide, including the alignment within the slide.
- Columns: Set the number of columns within the table.
- Rows: Set the number of rows within the table.
- Fill: Select the fill color for the table. In addition to selecting colors, users can also have the ability to use gradients, upload images, or use a custom pattern.
- Border: Select the border style, including Theme colors, as well as the Border Style and Border Weight.
- Table highlight: Select rows and/or columns that will be highlighted in the table.
- Font: Select the font type, font style, font size, line and letter spacing, and alignment.
Note: Click the More icon
to access additional formatting settings. - Text color: Select the text color. In addition to selecting colors, users can also have the ability to use gradients, upload images, or use a custom pattern.
- Text outline: Select the text style, including Theme colors, as well as the Border Style, Border Weight, and Join Type.
How to manage a cell
- Within a slide, click on the desired cell.
- The table toolbar will appear with the following options:
- Text size: Select the size of the text within the cell.
- Text color
: Select the color of the text within the cell. - Align
