Adding images in Zoom Slides

Users can add images to their slides via the Pexels integration or upload their own. In addition, users can use AI to generate images. 

Requirements for adding images in Zoom Slides

• Use of metered AI features requires either a Zoom AI Productivity Suite or ZoomMate license and available AI Credits
• Zoom Workplace desktop app for Windows or macOS: 7.0.0 or higher
• Zoom Slides enabled

How to add images to a slide

1. Create or open a presentation.
2. In the top toolbar, click the Media icon .
3. In the left navigation of the media menu, select an option:
   • AI images : Generate an image using AI using prompts. You can also select a specific Model, Style, and Image Ratio when generating the image.
     Note: Using this feature will use AI Credits. Learn more about using Zoom AI credits.
   • Images : Select an image available from Pexels.
   • Icons : Select an icon from either Remix Icon or Lucide.

Upload an image to a slide

1. Create or open a presentation.
2. In the top toolbar, click the Media icon .
3. In the bottom left corner of the media menu, click Upload.
4. Select the desired image from your computer.

How to manage an image added to a slide

1. Within a slide, click on the desired image.
2. The Media toolbar will appear with the following options:
   • AI : Use AI to edit the image.
     Note: Using this feature will use AI Credits. Learn more about using Zoom AI credits.
   • Crop : Crop an image to the desired dimensions.
   • Crop to shape: Crop the image to a desired shape.
     Note: Click Remove Crop to reverse the cropping.
   • Add a comment : Add a comment to the image.
   • More : Will open the Design tool with additional image options.

Manage an image with the Design tool

To manage an image using the Design tool:

1. Within a slide, click on the image.
2. In the toolbar, click Format options.
3. The following options will be available:
   • Size & Position: Adjust the size and position of the image within the slide, including the alignment within the slide.
   • Border: Select the border style, including Theme colors, as well as the Border Style and Border Weight. In addition, click the More icon  to modify the Join type.
   • Shadow: Select the shadow effect for the image. In addition, you can modify the shadow effect's Color, Distance, Blur, and Angle.
   • Crop to shape: Crop the image to a desired shape.
     Note: Click Remove Crop to reverse the cropping.
   • Radius: Select the radius of the image.
     Note: The maximum radius is 286 degrees.
