Adding shapes in Zoom Slides
Zoom Slides offers a variety of shapes to help you clearly present and organize information in your presentations. Whether you need to showcase data, compare details, illustrate processes, or highlight key concepts, shapes provide a visual way to structure your content effectively. Available shape types include basic shapes, callout shapes, flowchart symbols, UML symbols, and equations.
Requirements for adding shapes in Zoom Slides
How to add a shape to a slide
- Create or open a presentation.
- In the top toolbar, click the Shape icon
. - Search or scroll for the desired shape.
- Click on the desired shape.
The shape will be added to the slide. - (Optional) Click inside the shape to enter text within the shape.
Note: The text can be formatted using the same tools available for text boxes. - (Optional) Use the toolbar to manage the basic formatting.
How to manage a shape
To manage a shape:
- Within a slide, click on the desired shape.
- In the top toolbar, click Format options.
- The following options will be available:
- Size & Position: Adjust the size and position of the shape within the slide, including the alignment within the slide.
- Fill: Select the fill color for the shape. In addition to selecting colors, users can also have the ability to use gradients, upload images, or use a custom pattern.
- Border: Select the border style include Theme colors, as well as the Border Style and Border Weight.
- Shadow: Select the shadow effect for the shape. In addition, you can modify the shadow effect's Color, Distance, Blur, and Angle.
Note: Font, Text Color, and Text outline will also be available if text has been added to the shape.
