How to assign an Enhanced Media add-on license to a Zoom Room

After purchasing the Zoom Enhanced Media add-on, you can assign licenses to specific Zoom Rooms.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
  3. Locate the Zoom Room ID you want to assign an Enhanced Media license to.
    Note: Zoom Rooms are identified in the Email/Name ID column by the full Zoom Room name, with the label Zoom Rooms appearing directly beneath it.
  4. To the right of the Zoom Room ID, click Edit.
    The Edit User window will open, where you can add or remove permissions from the Zoom Room.
  5. In the Licenses and add-ons section, select the check box next to Zoom Enhanced Media.
  6. Click Save.

How to enable or disable Enhanced Media features for a Zoom Room

After assigning an Enhanced Media license to a Zoom Room, you can enable or disable Enhanced Media features in the Zoom web portal. These settings are disabled by default.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Room Management then Zoom Rooms.
  3. Locate and select the Zoom Room you want to enable Enhanced Media features for.
  4. Next to the room name, click Room settings.
  5. Click the Meeting tab.
  6. Under Media Settings, click the toggles next to the following settings to enable or disable them:
