Environment
This issue only impacts accounts that have:
- Business Associate Agreement (BAA) security settings enabled
- Upgraded to Zoom Workplace app version 7.0.0 (iOS, Android, Windows) or 7.0.1 (Windows)
Resolution
On April 2, 2026, Zoom removed the ability to download or update to Zoom Workplace app version 7.0.0 and 7.0.1 for Windows, and 7.0.0 for macOS, Linux, and Android, to prevent further users from being impacted. Automatic upgrades via fast channels were also disabled. iOS Apple App Store downloads could not be blocked. Users who were already on version 7.0.0 were not rolled back to an older version, but as a workaround, they could temporarily uninstall Zoom and reinstall the older version from the Download Center until Zoom deployed a fix.
As of April 3, 2026, the Zoom Workplace app version 7.0.0 for macOS and Linux has been restored on the Download Center. The Zoom Workplace app version 7.0.2 for Windows, iOS, iOS (Intune), Android, and Android (Intune) is available on April 3, 2026.
Note: The mobile releases require additional approval from their respective app stores and may take a few additional days to be available for download.
