Using Zoom Virtual Agent with the Okta CRM integration
With the Okta CRM integration, admins can connect the Okta CRM to Zoom Virtual Agent via the Zoom web portal, enabling voice or chat agents to access supported tools.
Requirements for using Zoom Virtual Agent with the Okta CRM integration
- Basic, Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
- Account owner or admin privileges for the Zoom web portal
- Administrator privileges for OKTA
- Zoom Virtual Agent license
- Edit access to the Virtual Agent product
- Okta Service App configured with Demonstrating Proof of Possession (dPOP) disabled
How to connect Zoom Virtual Agent with the OKTA CRM integration
Before proceeding, set up your Okta Service App and disable dPOP to avoid authentication failures.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click AI Studio then Integrations.
- Click Add Integration then OKTA.
- On the Add OKTA Integration page, enter your credentials and submit them.
- Click Save.
After you complete the authentication flow, you will be able to see the integration added to your integrations page. - In the navigation menu, click AI Studio then Integrations.
You will see the OKTA application with a Connected status.
How to use Okta CRM integration with Zoom Virtual Agent voice or chat agents
- In the navigation menu, click AI Studio then Tool Templates.
- In the navigation menu, click Marketplace.
The features supported as a tool will be displayed. - Create Voice/Chat agents and use the tools accordingly.

Communications between this app and Zoom/Okta are encrypted:

This app stores access credentials in the local data store:
- Okta OAuth2 tokens and Zoom OAuth credentials (both user-level only) are stored in an encrypted database.
