Enabling or disabling block internal calls
Administrators can use the Block internal calls feature to restrict inbound calls from specific internal extension types, giving organizations greater control over internal call routing. This is especially useful for account owners and admins who need to manage call access across departments, sites, or extension groups. Block rules are enforced based on the original caller regardless of routing path, resolving issues such as unwanted internal calls reaching users through auto receptionists, call queues, or shared line groups. Exceptions can be configured to allow calls from selected extensions, overriding any active block settings.
