Using the Meetings app dashboard

The Meetings apps dashboard provides administrators with comprehensive visibility into how apps interact with Zoom meetings from within the Zoom Dashboard. You can view detailed metrics on app join attempts, track which apps are being used most frequently, and analyze blocking patterns to ensure your organization's meeting security policies are effectively enforced.

Requirements for using the Meetings apps dashboard

• Business, Enterprise, or Education account
• Account owner or admin privileges

Limitations for using the Meetings apps dashboard

• The Meetings app dashboard currently does not display Real-Time Media Streams (RTMS)-based apps or livestreaming apps

How to access the Meetings apps dashboard

To access and view the Meetings apps dashboard:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin.
2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
3. In the side menu, click Dashboard.
4. At the top of the window, click the Meetings tab.
5. Click the Past Meetings tab.
6. At the top of the report, click Meeting Apps.
   The Meetings App dashboard will be displayed, with the following widgets:
   • Join attempts: Total number of times the app requested to join meetings, whether the request was allowed or blocked.
   • Blocked join attempts: The total number of app join attempts that were blocked.
   • Allowed joins: The total number of app join attempts that were permitted to join meetings.
   • Meeting with apps: The total number of unique meetings where at least one app joined.
   • App Blocking Methods: A doughnut chart displaying the number of app join attempts that were blocked, with segments for each block method:
     • From SDK settings: Meeting apps that were blocked using SDK apps management settings.
     • From Web client settings: Meeting apps that were blocked via settings for managing participants using the web client. Specifically, if Require solving a CAPTCHA for guest users (users who are not signed in) and/or Only authenticated users can join meetings from Web client is enabled.
   • Top 5 apps: A top-five ranking of the most frequently used apps in meetings, ranked by the number of app Join attempts, Blocked join attempts, or Allowed joins.
   • Meeting trend: A bar graph showing the number of meetings with and without meeting apps. The graph can be set to display trends by either day, week, or month.
   • Meeting details with apps: A detailed table listing individual meetings where apps were present, including the following information:
     • Meeting: The meeting ID and topic name of the meeting where apps were blocked.
     • Host: The name and email address of the user who hosted the meeting.
     • Join attempts: The total number of times apps attempted to join this specific meeting.
     • Blocked joins: The number of app join attempts that were prevented from accessing this meeting.
     • Allowed joins: The number of app join attempts that were successfully permitted to join this meeting.
     • Total participants: The total number of human participants who joined the meeting, plus the bots that join as participants and are allowed in the meeting.
