Using AI sales assist for Zoom Revenue Accelerator
AI Sales Assist provides sales teams with AI-powered guidance during live sales conversations using relevant information about products, services, and competitive context gathered during the conversation. This feature helps users respond to multiple topics such as discovery questions, objection handling, pricing discussions, competitor talking points, and product capabilities. Admins can create, customize, and deploy different AI sales assist agents to match the needs of different sales teams within the organization.
Requirements for using AI sales assist
Note: AI features may not be available for select verticals and select regional customers.
Limitations for using AI sales assist
AI sales assist has the following limitation:
- A Zoom Revenue Accelerator Essentials license grants AI sales assist access for up to 60 minutes per month per user (no pooling between users). Users assigned with a Zoom Revenue Accelerator Premium license have unlimited access to the feature.
How to navigate the AI sales assist page
Access the AI sales assist page
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin or any special role with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
- In the side menu, click Settings
. - Click Revenue Accelerator.
You will be directed to the account settings page for Zoom Revenue Accelerator. - Under AI agents, scroll down to Agent management and click Manage.
You will be directed to the Revenue Accelerator AI sales assist page.
View the AI sales assist page
Users can track which AI sales assist agents are available, find agents by name using the search bar, and view the following information in each column:
- Agent: Displays the name of the agent
Note: To configure an AI sales assist agent's information, click its name. - Status: Displays the agent's status
- Activated: The agent is live and assisting the teams it's assigned to
- Draft: The agent is deactivated
- Assigned to: Displays a list of teams that the agent assists when activated
Note: A team can only have one activated agent deployed to assist it. - Created by: Displays the user that created the agent
- Modified by: Displays the last user that configured the agent
- Last modified: Displays when the agent was last configured
- More icon
: Displays quick actions for the agent
- (Draft agents only) Activate: Switches the agent status to Activated
- (Activated agents only) Deactivate: Switches the agent status to Draft
- Duplicate: Copies the agent as a new Draft agent
- Delete: Permanently deletes the agent and unassigns teams from it
How to create an AI sales assist agent
Create a blank agent
To create a blank AI sales assist agent:
- Access the AI sales assist page in the web portal.
- In the top-right corner, click the Add agent button.
You will be directed to the created AI Sales Assist agent page. - Configure the agent's details.
How to manage an AI sales assist agent
Configure an agent's details
To configure an AI sales assist agent's details during or after its creation:
- Access the AI Sale Assist agent page from one of the following entry points:
- In the top-left corner, click the edit icon
.
The agent info window will display and let you modify the basic agent info:
- Under Name, input the agent's name.
- Under Description, input a short description for the agent.
- Click Save.
- Under Talking points support, enable any of the following topics that needs real-time agent assistance:
- Discovery questions: Relevant questions to help better understand the customer's needs
- Objection handling: Constructive guidance to help address the customer's objections
- Competitor talking points: Concise talking points to help confidently respond to customers discussing competitors
- Pricing talking points: Guidance that aligns with approved pricing policies and value positioning
- Functionalities talking points: Accurate product knowledge guidance to help when discussing product features or capabilities
- For each enabled talking point topic, click the edit icon
to configure the following:
- Instructions: Input the relevant questions or guidance to help better understand the customer's needs.
- (Optional) Knowledge: Select one or more knowledge collections to reference, then click Apply.
- Under Live signals, enable the following element if it needs a visual highlight as it appears in the conversation and click the edit icon
to configure:
- Playbook coverage
- Click Select a playbook to add the playbook that is currently activated.
- (Optional) Click Add new playbook to activate a different playbook and add it to the coverage.
- Under Timer-based reminder, enable the following if it needs a reminder for completion within a set time and click the edit icon
to configure:
- Opening prompt
- Under Remind if not delivered after, input how many seconds after a failed opening prompt before the agent displays a reminder.
- Under Required reminder, input the approved message that the agent displays.
- Under Team Assignment, click Assign to teams.
The assign to teams window will display and let you change :
- Select one or more teams to assign the agent to them.
- (Optional) Deselect one or more teams to remove the agent's assignment to them.
- Click Save.
- Under Review knowledge added to this agent, review all the knowledge collections referenced as agent talking points using the following info:
- Knowledge name: Displays the name of the knowledge collection
Note: To configure a knowledge collection, click on its name. Learn more about the requirements for creating and updating knowledge collection. - Skills: Displays a list of all agent talking points that use the knowledge collection as reference
- Status: Displays when the knowledge collection was last synced to Zoom
- In the top-right corner, save the changes using any of the following:
- To save and keep the agent status as Draft, click Save as draft.
- To save and change the agent status to Activated:
- Click Activate.
The Enable AI Sales Assist window will display the terms and responsibilities for using the feature. - Read and understand the prompt.
- Click the acknowledge checkbox, then click Enable.
The AI sales assist agent will be deployed to the teams it's assigned to.
Change an agent's status
To activate or deactivate the AI sales assist agent:
- Access the AI sales assist page in the web portal.
- To the right of the existing agent's name, click the more icon
. - To deploy an agent with the Draft status:

- Click Activate.
The Enable AI Sales Assist window will display the terms and responsibilities for using the feature. - Read and understand the prompt.
- Click the acknowledge checkbox, then click Enable.
The AI sales assist agent will be deployed to the teams it's assigned to.
- To remove from deployment an agent with the Activated status:
- Click Deactivate.
A verification dialog will display a reminder that teams will no longer be able to use this agent while deactivated and will ask for confirmation. - Click Yes, proceed.
Duplicate an agent
To create a new agent that is a copy of an existing AI sales assist agent:
- Access the AI sales assist page in the web portal.
- To the right of the existing agent's name, click the more icon
. - Click Duplicate.
- Configure the agent's details.
Delete an agent
To delete an existing AI sales assist agent:
- Access the AI sales assist page in the web portal.
- To the right of the existing agent's name, click the more icon
. - Click Delete.
A verification dialog will display a reminder that teams will no longer be able to use this agent and will ask for confirmation. - Click Yes, proceed.
