Zoom Scheduler Basic FAQs on what's changing: October 2026

Zoom Scheduler Basic is being removed from Zoom Workplace Basic and Zoom Workplace Pro plans. This article answers common questions about what this change means for your account and what you need to do.

What is Zoom Scheduler?

Zoom Scheduler is an appointment-booking tool that is separate from the standard meeting-scheduling feature in Zoom Workplace. It gives you a personal booking page that others can use to book time with you directly, without back-and-forth emails to find a time. It handles calendar sync, availability, and automatically creates the Zoom meeting link for each booking.

Scheduling a Zoom meeting, on the other hand, is the everyday act of setting up a meeting in your Zoom Workplace account. You pick a time, send an invite, and host. This is included in your plan and is not affected by this change.

Note: This change affects only Zoom Scheduler, not your ability to schedule or host regular Zoom meetings.

What's changing?

Starting October 23, 2026, Zoom Scheduler Basic will no longer be included in Zoom Workplace Basic and Zoom Workplace Pro plans. If you activated and onboarded to Zoom Scheduler Basic before September 4, 2026, you will continue to have access to Zoom Scheduler Basic.
