Frequently asked questions about the new Zoom Events analytics

Table of Contents

What is changing with event analytics?

Legacy analytics will no longer be available for new events or webinars plus webinars created after the September 2026 release.

What's different about new analytics?

Zoom Events analytics have been completely revamped to add more consistency, ease of use, and powerful insights. This includes new charts and reports, data exports, benchmarking, and AI analytics (only available to qualifying customers in the US).

Where can I find engagement data like Q&A, polls and quizzes, and surveys?

You can find the engagement data in the "Quick downloads" area of the summary page or the "Engagement" tab. You can now download chat messages and certificate data.

Can I see legacy reports in the new analytics?

Yes, you can see the legacy reports under the "Reports" tab. They are the same except they filter out panelist and special role data.

Which events are impacted by the sunset?

All events created after September 20th will not have access to legacy analytics. All events created before the cutoff keep legacy analytics access and can continue to switch back and forth between legacy and new.

Will it affect the multi-session or recurring session events?

You may add a new session or edit sessions after the September release. The cutoff is based on creation date of an event. If an event was created before the September release, all future new sessions are also grandfathered and have access to legacy analytics.

What if I have feedback or feature requests?

You can submit feedback right on the summary page, share feedback or feature requests with your Zoom representative or file a support ticket.

Will there be any new development or improvements to legacy analytics?

Legacy analytics will be in a support-only state. All future enhancements will be in the new analytics.

What happens to my custom reports?

Custom reports built in legacy analytics will automatically transfer to the new analytics under the "Reports" tab. They work the same way but exclude panelist and special role data.

Does this change include Video CMS reporting?

No, this transition does not currently include Video CMS. Video CMS can continue to switch back and forth between legacy and new.
