The Zoom Canvas app is a standalone mobile application that lets you work with your Canvas content directly from your iPhone or iPad. It provides a dedicated space to access, create, and organize your Canvas documents outside the Zoom Workplace app. The app also supports notifications for comments and activity on your documents, so you can stay up to date on collaboration while on the go.
After installation, open the Zoom Workplace app on your device. When you open the app for the first time, you have the option to sign in with your current Zoom account.
Once logged into the Zoom Canvas app, you will be taken to the Home tab, where your most recent files will be displayed.
In the top right corner of the app, you can click your profile picture to manage your settings.

In the bottom right corner, click the Create new icon
to create a new file. Learn more about creating and editing Zoom Canvas documents.
Once logged into the app, you will be taken to your Home tab. Here you can search for documents, as well as view your Starred and Recent Canvas documents.
Under the Starred section, your starred (favorite) Canvas documents appear. Under Suggested, your recently accessed documents will be displayed. Alternatively, at the top of the screen, use the Search bar to search for your specific document.
Tap a file to open it to view or edit the document.
On the My Docs files tab, your files and folders that you have created will be displayed. Here you can search for your owned or created documents.
At the top of the home page, the following System folders will be displayed:
Below the System folders, the rest of your folders and Canvas documents will be displayed and ordered by the last time they were opened.
On the Shared tab, your files and folders that have been shared with you by other users are displayed, sorted by the date and time they were shared with you.
The Inbox tab contains all notifications for your Canvas documents. Notifications be filtered by tapping one of the following tabs at the top of the screen:
Tap the desired notification to be taken to the document or specific comment.
In addition to marking all notifications as read, you can tap the More icon
in the top right corner and tap Mark all as read.
From within the Zoom Canvas app settings, you can manage your notifications, provide feedback, and log out of your current profile. To disable Zoom Canvas notifications:
If you have both the Zoom Workplace mobile app and the Zoom Canvas app installed on your device, both apps will notify you if there are new comments for your Canvas documents. If you desire to use the Zoom Canvas app as your primary app for Canvas content, you can disable comments for Canvas in the Zoom Workplace app.
