There are multiple ways to join a Zoom meeting. You can join a meeting through an email or calendar invite, an instant messaging invite, from a web browser, from the Zoom desktop and mobile application, from a landline or mobile phone, Zoom Room, or with a SIP/H.323 device.
If you were invited to a Zoom meeting by the host, you may have a meeting invite in your email or calendar.
In the meeting invite, click the join link below Join Zoom Meeting. You will be prompted to launch the meeting on the Zoom app or click Join from your browser to join on the web if you don’t want to download the app.
Check your audio and video settings, then click Join. You will either join the meeting automatically or be placed into the waiting room until the host admits you.
Join on the Zoom Workplace desktop or mobile app
For the best meeting experience, sign in to your Zoom account and join a meeting from the Zoom desktop or mobile app. You can download the latest version of the app from the Download Center. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.
If joining from the Zoom desktop or mobile app, the app on your device must meet the following version requirements:
In a web browser, you can join a Zoom meeting through the Zoom Web App, by entering the meeting ID and choosing to open the Zoom desktop or mobile app, or join a meeting directly from a web browser without downloading any plugins or software.
Join through other methods
You can also join a Zoom meeting through Team Chat, dialing in from a phone, SIP/H.323 device, or a Zoom Room.
