Protocols for Apple screen mirroring

Apple screen mirroring (also known as AirPlay on iOS 11 or earlier) requires certain settings on your network and computer firewalls. Please ensure the following ports are enabled on your computer's network or desktop firewall:

On your Windows desktop firewall, allow access to the following applications:

Follow these steps to allow airhost.exe through the Windows firewall:

  2. Go to Firewall & Network Protection
  3. Allow an App Through Firewall
  4. Change Settings
  5. Add another App
  6. Browse for the file
  7. Add and Confirm
