Emailing hosts when attendees join first
Zoom hosts can receive an email notification if participants have joined the meeting before the host. The notification email will prompt the host to join the meeting.
Only the host of the meeting will receive this email. This email notification is triggered if:
- An attendee is waiting for the host to start the meeting
- An attendee has joined the meeting before the host (if the join before host setting is enabled)
Note: When enabled, this email will be sent any time an attendee joins the meeting, even if it is not at the scheduled meeting time. If an attendee clicks the link early to test or accidentally joins at the wrong time, the email will be sent to the host.
